Whenever Council seeks input on an issue or proposal related to community development, it will be featured here on Your Say Wingecarribee. While we will continue to meet with people in person and provide printed materials at key locations, it is our aim to also provide community engagement opportunities online so it is available to as many people as possible (and at all hours) so you can have a say on the things that matter.

The Community Development team works across the Shire to create and support strong and resourceful communities through quality community strategic planning, research and policy development, community events, community grants and through the planning and provision of community infrastructure.

The team is made up of community development officers who each have a specialist focus on one or more of the following areas: young people, people with disability, older people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, women, arts and culture, families and children and community safety.

In my part of Moss Vale there seems to be a graffiti and vandalism spree about once every four months. Paint has been dripped on people's cars parked in the street and driveways. Mirrors get broken off cars. Cars get kicked. Most recently many houses had their letterboxes broken. No one ever sees or hears anything.
